I bought my apartment two years ago, and it is situated in a new build complex that was about 5 years old when I moved in. I was worried that it would feel sterile & uniform, but I quickly realised that one of the things I loved about it was that it is a 'blank canvas' - I've really been able to put my stamp on it & always have plans to do more. I do a lot of DIY projects around the home, which as well as being the perfect screen-free mindful hobby, gives me even more creative control. I have to say though, my fave thing about it is the lighting - my apartment faces a leafy common, and the sun rises (or sets, depending on the season) through the windows of my kitchen, bedroom and balcony, and it always looks beautiful.

I love minimal, neutral interiors (as many of us do) and feel really drawn to a mix of vintage, DIY and new things - I like textures and tactile surfaces, which means there's lots of marble, velvet and wood around the space. Sometimes this is best achieved through new pieces like my marble arch lamp, DIYs like my concrete table on my balcony or old pieces like my vintage travertine marble coffee table, which I found on FB marketplace.

I also have art everywhere. It features lots of my prints because I really do love my work and it speaks to the visibility of black women that I create from - but also includes pieces from some of my fave artists of colour. I have pieces leaned or hung in every spare wall in the house - including both bathrooms!

I am also obsessed with my coffee table and restyle it nearly every week! It currently features the 001 candle which smells absolutely divine. It's in tandem with my bookshelf, which is full of books on everything from Psychiatry to my fave black artists, and luxe interior books to novels I've read and love.

Lastly, I am a proud plant mum. I have nearly 40 plants across my apartment - so much so that I am on a plant buying ban, and gift my friends with propagated plant babies to manage the growth. In my kitchen I have lots of trailing plants alongside a rubber plant that I bought when I moved in, a massive spider plant I grew from a propagation my dad gave me and a backdrop of trees from the common. It's such a peaceful view, and means I spend a lot of time in my kitchen.

My gallery wall - the prints are ever changing, but right now is a mix of some of my favourite pieces from my current Illustration collection.

I've also got a stunning cane chair from French Connection that I bought maybe a year before I even found the apartment! It was part manifestation (because house hunting as a single woman in London is v.hard) and part love at first sight. I love it, and it now sits proudly in my bedroom. My bedroom is completely screen-free so I don't have any TV or phone chargers in there - a complete zen space.
